I have been going to their Estate Sales pretty much since they started, and over time, due to the quality of the merchandise and excellent prices; their sales have become my favorite ones to attend. Another thing I really like, is how helpful and friendly their staff is, from help with parking, to offering to carry your items to the 'Sold' area; they are right there, keeping an eye on everything, without following customers around and making them feel uncomfortable. Ratchel & Drake always do a good job of being both friendly and easy to talk to, but also running things like seasoned professionals. At their most recent sale; when I pulled up to the front of the house to load my boxes of treasures; I looked down and had a flat tire,, ughh! ,, but before I had even finished putting the boxes in my truck; Rachel whipped out an impressive, handheld, compressor; and was putting air in my slow- leaking tire, which allowed me to drive all the way home without even getting my hands dirty changing the tire. I interviewed a number of different places that will do estate sales. I got the sense that a Clean Getaway was the top of the line. At first I was a little put off by the price admittedly. But I started to do the math with others and found that A Clean Getaway’s price was actually very competitive. The reason the price seemed so high at first was because it included EVERYTHING! Absolutely everything from start to finish meaning, all ties wrapped up, house cleaned …everything. In researching the others there was lots of exceptions that I would have never even thought to ask that added costs and/or work. Some other companies, I was responsible for final cleaning, and I had to hire someone to dump what was left, and I have to be responsible for all the paperwork of the cars. Stand in line at the DMV, send away for this or that. Etc. With a clean Getaway, they are serious about a Clean Getway. You are dealing with your loss emotionally, and they deal with ALL the rest. And true to their word, the house was clean clean clean and all I got from them was a update as the progress moved forward.
